I'm gonna say Mesa Verde...but there are so many Anasazi ruins around that area, it could be any of them! But I don't know if you've been to, say, Chaco Canyon, or Canyon de Chelly. Hell, I haven't even been to Chaco!
But Mesa Verde seems reasonable...and it does actually look like them...
I have a pic from the last time I went there of my brother "grinding corn" in one of the little troughs in the floor. 'Bout time I put that boy to work!
P.S. My word verification was "kulao", which either sounds like it's Hawaiian, or some kind of new designer Star****s coffee...
I'm guessing Utah! Because that's the only place that I remember seeing cliff dwellings. Only, you got a lot closer than I did.I tried, but the people that let you see them? Yeah, they get grumpy when you're in "Lara Croft" mode.
It's either Arizona or Mars. I bet there are cliff dwellings on Mars.

ReplyDeleteI am so very jealous of your awesome job and its awesome travel opportunities.

This is from your second-grade classroom. It is a diorama of Mexico in a Skechers shoebox.
