Carry on

Almost a year ago, I started a monstrously huge cross stitching project. I finally busted it out again last Friday:

Slowly but surely, I plod on.

What's the biggest craft project you've ever undertaken? Did you manage to see it through to the end?

Reading:  Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver

  1. In 2003, I began a cross stitching project that was to be a Christmas present. Since I don't follow directions well, I ended up with lost of little 1-2 stitch holes and other patches. Maybe this year it will get done...

  2. this only sort of counts, but i've been collecting beer bottle caps for ... at least 8 years .. with the plan to make them into fridge magnets or something cool... but now I have like five big gallon bags of them and really no concrete plans on what to do with them

  3. I started a 12x24 country alphabet cross stitch when I was first pregnant with my daughter. My husband kept teasig that I'd never finish it before she was born. I had one square left and then Allison was born a week early! I got teased for that one.

I also did a cross stitch baby blanket for my brother's first daughter. it was a teddy bear asleep on a crescent moon with stars. I finished it before the baby shower.
